Electroplating Process

Electroplating is the process of plating a thin layer of other metals or alloys on certain metal surfaces using the principle of electrolysis. It is a process that uses electrolysis to attach a layer of metal film to the surface of metal or other material parts, thereby preventing metal oxidation (such as rust), improving wear resistance, conductivity, reflectivity, corrosion resistance (copper sulfate, etc.) and enhancing aesthetics. The outer layer of many coins is also electroplated.
Electroplating is a widely used surface optimization treatment technology in the production process of jewelry and other products. It is a process method that uses electrochemical methods to precipitate metal and alloy coatings on the surface of jewelry and other products. The so-called electroplating is to reduce the metal ions in the plating solution to metal atoms through electrode reaction under the action of an external electric field, and precipitate metal on the cathode, thereby forming a coating on the surface of the jewelry, which effectively changes the texture, color, and texture of the jewelry to prevent corrosion, beautify the jewelry and extend its service life.
