Injection Blowing Process

Injection blow molding (IBM) is the process of injection blow molding. The principle of the process is to heat and melt the resin and inject it into the parison mold through the injection blow molding equipment to form a parison, and then transfer the parison attached to the core rod and at a certain temperature to another blow molding station mold, and then introduce compressed air into the parison to inflate the parison, and then rely on the blow molding mold to cool and shape to obtain the required hollow product.
1. The injection blow molding process has a lower cost than other plastic processing processes (such as extrusion molding and injection molding). This is because injection blow molding uses an efficient continuous production line and does not require additional hot plate heating, cooling, demolding and other equipment, thereby reducing equipment investment and operating costs.
2. The injection blow molding process has the advantages of high output and rapid production. Injection blow molding equipment can achieve continuous production and can produce thousands of products per hour, with production efficiency much higher than other processing technologies. This is very beneficial for companies that produce products in large quantities.
3. The injection blow molding process can produce products with stable quality. During the molding process, the plastic is heated and melted, injected into the mold, and blown into shape, so that the size and appearance of the product can be better controlled. In addition, injection blow molding can also achieve uniform wall thickness, avoiding problems such as product deformation, defects and rough surface.
4. Injection blow molding can flexibly adjust the molding material, shape and size according to the requirements of product design. Injection blow molding can produce a variety of hollow products, such as bottles, containers and plastic tubes of different shapes. And by changing the mold, the diversity and customized production of products can be achieved.
5. Injection blow molding is more environmentally friendly than other processing technologies. In the process of injection blow molding, plastic particles or particle mixtures are generally used, and no chemicals such as adhesives are added. In addition, injection blow molding equipment often uses energy-saving heating elements and efficient cooling systems to reduce energy consumption.
6. The injection blow molding process can be applied to various common plastic materials, such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), etc. In addition, injection blow molding can produce hollow products with different inner and outer walls that can be treated differently, and the performance of the product can be flexibly adjusted to meet different application requirements.
